Welcome to Suzzr. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Suzzr mobile application ("App").
Suzzr is designed as an offline-first, locally-stored food exploration and note-taking tool. We do not require you to create an account, and we minimize data collection wherever possible. This policy complies with applicable United States privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).
The following data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers:
When you make in-app purchases, the Apple App Store or Google Play Store ("Platform") processes your payment. We do not receive your payment card details. We may receive anonymized or aggregated transaction data (e.g., purchase confirmation) from the Platform to validate purchases and deliver virtual goods.
We do not collect: account credentials (no login required), email addresses, phone numbers, precise geolocation (unless you voluntarily add location text to notes), or any personally identifiable information unless you explicitly provide it.
The App may request access to the following device features. You can deny these permissions; however, some features may not function fully.

We do not access your contacts, microphone (except as required for video recording if that feature is used), or other sensitive data beyond what is necessary for the App's core functionality.

Your notes, photos, and other content are stored locally on your device using the device's secure storage mechanisms. We do not maintain central servers that store your personal food notes or photos.
If you uninstall the App, your locally stored data will typically be removed with the app. Backup and sync features (if any) may store data in your personal cloud account (e.g., iCloud) according to your device and account settings; we do not control that storage.
Transaction records related to in-app purchases may be retained by the Platform (Apple or Google) in accordance with their respective policies.

We do not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social media plugins that track your activity across other apps or websites.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Because your primary data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends largely on your device's security (e.g., passcode, biometric lock).
We do not transmit your personal notes or photos to our servers. Any communication with external services (such as purchase validation) uses industry-standard encryption (e.g., HTTPS, TLS).
No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.
Our App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the email address below, and we will take steps to delete such information.
If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you should use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

If you access the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document or through in-app notifications where feasible.
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
