Welcome to Suzzr. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Suzzr mobile application ("App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and the operator of Suzzr ("we," "us," or "our"). Our App provides a local, offline-first food exploration and restaurant note-taking experience without requiring user registration or account creation.
Suzzr is a personal food exploration and restaurant note-taking application designed for food enthusiasts and culinary explorers. The App allows you to:
The App operates primarily on your device. Your data is stored locally unless you explicitly use features that require external services. We do not require account creation, and you may use the App anonymously.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the App. By using Suzzr, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App and to accept these Terms. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of the App.
The App is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have received information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
You retain full responsibility for all content you create, store, or share within the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for users who violate these Terms.
Suzzr offers optional in-app purchases of virtual coins that may be used to unlock certain features within the App. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store ("Platform").
By making an in-app purchase, you agree to the Platform's terms and payment policies. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Platform policies. We do not control pricing, taxes, or refunds; those are managed solely by the Platform.
Virtual coins and any digital items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real currency. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue in-app purchases at any time without liability.
All content, features, designs, logos, and materials associated with Suzzr, including but not limited to the App interface, graphics, and underlying software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App or its content without our express written permission.
User-generated content (such as photos and notes you create) remains yours. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your original content.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided within the App.
The App is a personal note-taking tool. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any restaurants, venues, or food establishments you may document. User reviews and ratings reflect personal opinions and should not be construed as professional advice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred United States dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document or through in-app notifications where feasible.
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the App.
